Supplement Shopping List

*Tim Ferriss writes that by no means are the supplements shown absolutely necessary. They only help. Results can be seen without the use of some of these supplements. I personally used all the products below except for creatine (which may explain why I did not gain AS much weight as intended). Absolute essentials include: Whey & Glutamine.
Must buy. This is the ultimate muscle building supplement and crucial for anyone looking to put on mass. Whey protein is the fastest acting and purest protein on the market. Buy the 5 pound bottle since you'll use it a couple times a day. It'll be finished before you know it.

Supercissus is used to help alleviate joint pain. Many weight-lifters use this to help current joint pain. It's especially helpful since you'll be lifting huge weights by the end of the 4 weeks, it can add to the pressure on your joints. *If you have any thyroid issues, I would avoid this.

Many weight-lifters use creatine to gain weight fast. Personally, I avoided it. Creatine helps your muscles to store water but once you stop taking it, your muscles will retract in size. If you're just looking to bulk up, creatine can definitely help you with that goal. But if you just want to have rock solid muscles, you can do without but you will gain less weight overall.
Glutamine helps to prevent muscle catabolism (breaking down), promotes muscle building, enhances your glycogen storage and your immune system. This is probably the most important supplement to take since it has direct correlations with weight gain.

Alpha Lipoic Acid is an antioxidant that will help your body dissolve toxic substances in the liver and help your body prevent degradation of cells. Simply put, this will help you stay healthy throughout the workout.

I'd also recommend you purchase the three things on the right, if you don't already own them. The Body Tape Measure will help you keep track of how much weight you're gaining and where. The Body Fat monitor will help you time and time again to measure your body fat percentage so you can strive for that perfect shape. (Fun fact: 8% body fat is when you begin to see abs!) If using this, make sure you are recording your weight, body fat, and BMI in a notebook - along with your body measures! Finally, the weight lifting gloves below are great! They will help reduce join strain and prevent you from getting nasty callouses!
